Restarting – Again

Well according to my Wii Fit, it has been 200 days since I last “weighed-in” and I’ve gained 15 pounds in that time. Ouch. Well, my husband is on board this time and we’re both going to give Dukan another shot. He wants to try a 5/5 rotation this time. 5 days of PP followed by 5 days of PV. Having only done 1/1, it will be interesting to see if I like 5/5 better.

Today was day 1 and we’re all stocked up on Dukan friendly food. I did a Zumba Fitness work out as it’s still a bit chilly outside for walking. I know exercise is very important so I’m hoping it falls back into the habit it was last spring. I have all kinds of DVDs and Wii Fit games to keep things interesting.

I will be posting at least once a week in the coming months as we embark on this weight loss journey.

Well, I apologize this site has been down a lot over the past 3 days, but I think our server issues are finally solved. So instead of 3 individual posts, I am just making 1.

I cut the Attack period off after 3 days. I didn’t go through any of the carb withdraw symptoms I did the first time around, and PP only days are torturous for me. So I started this morning as a PV day and am enjoying a nice omelet with peppers and onions.

In 3 days of Attack I lost 4 lbs. Not bad for a 3 day attack.

Well, it’s been awhile since I have posted, and if you look back at my last half dozen or so posts you’ll notice my weight was pretty stagnate as well. Life threw some stress at me and I fell off the wagon Dukan-wise. I have however maintained for the most part. So all is not lost.

I’m ready to start again and I am going to do so with a 5 day Attack. I’m going back to the basic strict book rules and following it through this time. I am going to follow the same format. You will see daily posts from me for all 5 days of the attack phase describing how I feel. After that point I will be posting every Saturday with a weekly Cruise update.

I hope all of you out there are finding success with your weight loss battles. Thank you for taking the time to check in on mine.
